Agile Methodology | Scrum Master
I'm currently in the technology field as a Technical Project Manager and an Advanced Certified Scrum Master advocating for Agile Methodologies. It is my belief that no matter the project, team or organization, small and large, Agile is the methodology to make it happen. With Agile your organization, initiatives and teams will be self-organized, collaborative, innovative and will fail fast. The market moves fast and so should your organization.
QA
I started my career in the video game industry as an entry level QA "tester" on contract. My passion for gaming is what landed me this dream job. During my years of being in the QA department, I learned the foundation of video games and how they worked by discovering, breaking and documenting. Clear communication and context were key when interfacing with developers and producers. Using various project tracking tools to convey defects on builds and provide user feedback.
Production, Project Management, Agile Advocate
I leveled-up to Producer while at Zynga 1 year early of my 5-year goal to become a Producer/Project Manager. This, when looking back, my passion for leading teams flourished. I was a Producer for the Art department and two feature pods. While reflecting after my departure from Zynga, I decided I wanted to try the start-up scene to get more experience in all business development and have a larger impact on culture, people, and processes. I worked at various design and product development agencies working with high profile clients to deliver entertainment apps, utility apps, video games and much more. I was able to help rollout processes and tools to effectively deliver and provide transparency on project initiatives for client as well as internally. The start-up scene allowed me to grow my knowledge, skills, and abilities to effectively coach and manage initiatives, teams, budgets, and clients. While I enjoyed the fast pace and new projects at agencies I was ecstatic when I was contacted by Silvercar, Inc to join the engineering department as their Production Manager. Over time as Silvercar grew the need for a Product Owner arose, while I was performing many task of a PO in role being a PO isn't where my sights are set. I prefer building teams and organizations by influencing and guiding teams to be self-organized, high performing teams through Agile principles and buildout a framework that best suits the project, product, team or organization. While I advocate strongly for Agile methodology sometimes the organizations needs are not always in alignment with those frameworks and need guidance on how to transition to an Agile Org while maintaining the business level needs.

Personal Background
Dallas born and Austin raised. I grew up with two strong passions animals and video games. Video games were and still are a family thing. I play ESO with my mother today. My boyfriend and I have 5 dogs (Hoshi, Akira, Zoey, Ludo, and Freya), 4 of those are mine. Some friends call me a crazy dog lady, but I'm okay with that. I also like to volunteer my skills and services to community organizations and events. By helping organize and plan events with the Austin Facial Hair Club. Our club has over 70 active members who volunteer and compete in competitive facial hair competitions to raise money for charity and help build a community of acceptance and tolerance. We have many walks of life that contribute to making it successful. I recently helped get branding and a website up and running for a new non-profit for bully breed type dogs, Bully Ranch.
